*SPROING!* DO IT AGAIN! XD
Laughing so hard my sides hurt, I watched as the thousandth dragon slayer shot into the air and away from the house with a sproing! sound and land several yards away. Hearing a faint crunch as he broke his leg on the landing, I took a sip of liqueur made from an ancient dragon recipe passed through several generations.
"Are you intending on getting drunk?" Nissa asked, a hologram of her head next to me. "Because at this rate; three more shots'll do it."
"No, I'm not," I replied, leaning back in my deck chair. "But maybe this is a bad game to play too. Too easy to loose with the results."
"Game? Can I play?" Shalimar asked, looking up at me.
"It's a grown up game," I said, putting the drink and shotglass away. "And I'm done playing it. Go tell Wynn that I said you two were to start a tournement on Arc the Lad Monster Arena."
"Ooookies dokies!" Shalimar said, jumping to her feet. Opening the door to the house, she yelled, "WYYYYYNNNNN! MOMMA SAID YOU AN ME ARE GONNA START A TOURNEY-MENT!"
Chuckling, I looked out at the yard again. As Nissa's hologram face dissappeared as she went to go check on something, I murmured, "Poor Shal. Wynn's the closest thing she's got to a sister."
"And if your home existed, she'd have other dragons her age to play with."
"Yeah," I said. "You know Ikkit, I wish that Crei was still alive. I miss him."
"He is alive. Kinda."
"Huh? How so, Tikki?"
"His power is protecting Shalimar. During your fight with Lord Aricus, there was some debris that flew at Shal; but she glowed blue and the debris was deflected."
"Okay," I said, mulling this over. "About that chaos sprite...since she forced the others to rebuild the house...does this mean that she is good and the other four are evil?"
"As you know when you are around Red Dragons," Nissa replied having reappeared to catch my question, "opposite elements refuse to work together no matter if it means saving the world or not. The Fire, Earth, Air, and Water sprites were all good, but it took the Chaos sprite to force them to work togther to rebuild the house."
"Oh," I said. With sudden realization, I shot out of my chair and spun around to face Tikki and Ikkit. Falling over the railing and landing on my back, I rolled to my feet and pointed at the two cats. "When the hell could you two talk!?!" [+1] [+2]
"We could talk the entire time," Ikkit said.
"We just haven't chose to speak in front of YOU until now," Tikki added.
"...WHY?"
"Because there was no reason to," Tikki said.
"Only reason why we are now is because Nissa finally got off her computerized butt and changed the security precautions here," Ikkit said. "I would have rewired her to do that, but your wiring proved to be rather...painful."
"Ikkit looked like a white puff ball," Nissa said, showing me a picture of Ikkit's fur fuzzed out about her.
Laughing, I ducked as Ikkit threw the deck chair at me.

[+2] A few people know Tikki and Ikkit can talk. I am not one of those people; at least not until now.
