Escape
Watching in stunned disbelief as Luxord and Vexen left with the girl, Xink snapped out of his daze. "He's my--" looking at the scarred man, Xink said, "You're my--wait, what?"
"Very eloquent, you idiot," the scarred man said as the flames died down. "Your Aunt Nogard is by no choice of my own my mother."
Trying to process this information, it took Xink a moment to say, "But I thought--?"
"That she was incapable of any form of attraction other than insurmountable hatred for your other Aunt?" the scarred man asked. "That is true. However, when she was younger--the demon that is my sire roofied her. And, well, you're looking at the results."
"She was raped?" Xink gasped.
"She will never admit to it even if you were to present me to her," the scarred man said. There was far more to the story that Nogard had told him in a drunken rage, but he felt that now was not the time nor did he think it was Xink's business to know. "As it was, this led to me having an...eventful...upbringing. One that I do not think you, Shalimar, or Wynn ever had."
"That's--"
"Horrible? Despicable?" the scarred man interrupted. "Yes, it was all that and more. However, I survived it and it has hardened me--not to mention making me so gorram pretty."
"But--"
Holding up a hand--which happened to have a chunk missing out of the fleshy part below the thumb--the scarred man said, "Enough of your useless babble. We need to get out of here and get to the much younger version of our mutual Aunt before these idiots do to her what they did to me. Call out to the guard."
"Why?" Xink asked suspiciously.
"They won't come if I call," the scarred man said. "You however, are another story." Xink was about to ask why when the scarred man sighed and back handed Xink across the face. "Call. The. Guard."
Shocked, and angered, Xink backed towards the bars of the cell. Keeping his eyes on the scarred man, he called, "Hey! This jackass is beating the crap out of me. He's--" Quicker than his eye could follow, the scarred man rushed forward and slammed his foot into Xink's knee, shattering it.
"You'll live," the scarred man said over Xink's screaming while pulling him away from the bars of the cell. Grabbing Xink's braid to hold him up, the scarred man transformed his other hand into a dragon's claw and placed it at the boy's throat.
"What in Kingdom Hearts is going on down here?!" Marluxia exclaimed, rushing to the door of the cell. Seeing the scarred man holding Xink hostage, he said carefully, "Let him go Waldo."
"I'm afraid I can't do that Marly," the scarred man replied. "Your group took two things I want--one of which is mine. You will open the door or I will kill my own kin and then where you be without access to Chixalam?"
"You wouldn't cross his mother!" Marluxia said.
"Ignoring for the moment she's far too possessed to know what's going on," Waldo, the scarred man, said, "All she will know is the Organization would be the cause of her death. Now unless you want to bring her wrath upon this place, I would suggest opening the door and letting me pass."
After a moment, Marluxia unlocked the door and opened it.
"There's a good chap," Waldo said, smiling a fake smile. "Now, stand aside. If you pull your scythe, I show you the color of this boy's blood."
Glaring, Marluxia stepped aside.
"Good boy," Waldo said, pushing Xink ahead of him. When he drew level with Marluxia, Waldo used his speed again to smash Marluxia in the face with his dragon claw. When Marluxia staggered backward, Waldo slammed his fist into Marluxia's stomach. When Marluxia bent over, Waldo drove his elbow into the back of Marluxia's neck. Dropping Xink, Waldo grabbed Marluxia and threw his stunned body into the cell.
Slamming the door and breaking the key off in the lock, Waldo helped Xink to his feet and draped one of the boy's arm over his neck and put his arm around Xink's waist. "Now. We've got to find two things--me and our much younger mutual Aunt. Ready?"
"You broke my ******** leg!" Xink gasped.
"Yes," Waldo replied, drawing out the word some. "Well, your acting was horrible. I had to...motivate you."
