"That's more of a tunic and leggings," Xink said, looking at Chixalam. Glancing down at his own outfit, Xink added, "I'm the one in the dress and I have no idea why we're dressed this way!" [1]
"Great...," Chixalam growled. "Well, let's get going."
Fluttering alongside Chixalam, Xink said, "Whatever we're looking for, I think, is going to be about the size of your fist and should correspond in some way to to the members of the Dynasty in the way of color."
"So we should be interested in that swordfish dancing on the bank balancing a blue gem on its fins?" Chixalam asked, gesturing with a thumb over his shoulder.
Looking at where Chixalam was pointing, Xink said, "Yes. Yes we should."
Sticking his hand out to the side, Chixalam attempted to summon his keyblade--only to find a cornet appeared in his hand. Looking at it, he said, "This is not my keyblades."
"And that's not a heartless," Xink replied. "It appears in this digital world, your blades manifest as what the person you appear to be uses."
"Thank you Dr. Obvious," Chixalam said. "The only problem is I've never played."
"I don't think it matters," Xink said. "Just put it to your mouth."
Raising the cornet, Chixalam was surprised when it released a loud noise and four puppets stood before him. [2] "Uh..."
"I think you need to order them to attack," Xink said.
"Attack?" Chixalam said.
Raising her bazooka, Sharte fired a rocket at the fish at the same time Tell shot an arrow at it. Before the dust had a chance to clear, L-Kun had fired a lighting bolt at the fish while Ledgem created a gravity well around it. Yet the swordfish still stood its ground--only it had summoned additional swordfish to help it fight. Each of the other swordfish had gems as well: teal, red, purple, and another blue gem.
"Jackpot," Xink said. One of the swordfish sent a shard of ice flying at him. Ducking out of the way, Xink said, "Hey! I didn't attack you! Those guys did, attack them!"
"Gee thanks," Chixalam muttered, dodging attacks aimed at him. To the puppets, he said, "Dodge then counter!"
Following Chixalam's commands, the puppets retaliated against the swordfish. Under Xink's guidance, Chixalam was able to navigate the puppets around the swordfish, heal the puppets when needed, and power up their individual special powers that provided one hit kills--Sharte had a Holy attack that dissolved an opponent in a ball of light, L-Kun had a Thunder attack that reduced an opponent to a pile of ash, Ledgem had a Darkness attack that sent an opponent to the gates of Hell, and Tell had an attack so powerful that it caused a single arrow to hit a minimum of five critical points.
"You won't be able to power them up again," Xink said as Chixalam repeatedly tried to use his horn to power up the puppets. "You'll have to wear this one down."
"I doubt we have the time to do so," Chixalam said. To the puppets, he ordered, "Converge and attack!"
As the puppets moved to carry out Chixalam's orders, Xink said, "Now I think about it, you may be able to do some damage with the horn if you get close enough."
"How, beat it over the head?" Chixalam asked.
"Not quite, but I think you can cast a spell with it," Xink replied. "Give it a try."
"Alright," Chixalam said doubtfully. Raising the cornet to his lips, Chixalam was unsurprised by the music it automatically played--but the attack caught him completely off guard. Out of the sky, a giant flan fell out of the sky and landed on the swordfish and jiggled. After a second or two, it shot back into the sky and disappeared.
"Did you mean to do that?" Xink asked.
"...No..." Chixalam replied.
"...Right," Xink said. "Well...let's get the gems and head back..."
As he was picking up the gems, Chixalam realized that his keyblades and clothes had returned to normal. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw that Xink had also returned to normal. Raising a keyblade, Chixalam pointed it at a tree that had a keyhole shaped hole in it and shot a beam of white light at it. A lock clicked and a door opened to suck the two of them through.
Blinking his eyes, Chixalam saw that they had been returned to Base.

[2] Sharte, L-Kun, Tell, and Ledgem--a point on heights: L-Kun is as big as Cornet while the other three come up to Coronet's hip. Chixalam is about a foot taller than Coronet and he stands 6'3".
