"Um...Dragon?" Nissa asked as 1-foot long black bone claws suddenly shot out of the backs of my hands.
"I know," I replied, looking at the bone claws with a lifted eyebrow.
"Didn't that hurt?"
"Quite a bit actually."
"Then shouldn't you be reacting?"
"One kind of gets used to pain."
"For as much hell as she's been through," Tikki sleep mumbled from the floor. "I'm not surprised."
"You're not surprised Dragon suddenly grew four bone claws?" Nissa asked. "And that her coon tail reverted to a dragon's tail?"
Opening an eye, Tikki looked me over. I was in my chibi ninja form--through no choice of my own--looking at my bone claws. "Oh...well then...the bone claws're new."
Rushing up the steps of the porch, Shalimar slid to a stop as she ran around the corner and saw me for the first time in my chibi form. Flicking her tail in a way that was all too familier, Shalimar tilted her head to the right and said, "Momma's...chibi..."
"Oh hell," I said, getting up and backing away from Shalimar. Saying nothing, Shalimar advanced a step for every step I retreated. "Shal, it's bad to eat your own mommy."
"Eat 'er!" Tikki said, yawning.
"Shut up Tikki!" I said
"Dragon I've got a...oh man," Ikkit said, coming out on the porch between Shalimar and I. Spinning to look at me, Ikkit said, "Dragon, bamf!"
"WHAT?""Bamf out of her reach!" Ikkit said. "Teleport! I'll explain later"
"You'd better..." I growled bamfing away.
TodayFrom when I bamfed the first time yesterday, I have been unable to stop. At first, bamfing was fun...but it gets old and nausiating real quick. Due to the fact that I wouldn't be able to stay in one spot for more than thirty seconds, Ikkit had wrote a letter explaining why I couldn't stop bamfing.
Ikkit's Letter
Dragon, you remember that electricity experiment you told me you accidentally electrocuted yourself with when Nogard was acting good? That altered your chibi DNA to the point of growing bone claws and your fluffy tail loosing all the fur to reveal your true dragon tail. I only found out a few minutes before finding Shalimar about to eat you about the queer side effect--that I told you to use and you can't stop now. If you bear with me for one more day, I swear I will find a cure!
Every time I found myself in front of Ikkit, I said, "THAT'S ALL *bamf* ... *bamf* .... *bamf* WELL AND *bamf* ... *bamf* .... *bamf* GOOD BUT *bamf* ... *bamf* .... *bamf* WHAT IF *bamf* ... *bamf* .... *bamf* I GET *bamf* ... *bamf* .... *bamf* STUCK OR *bamf* ... *bamf* .... *bamf* KILLED?!"
