ZUCHAX! I thought to myself as I picked up his scent. That b*****d is back?!
However, I did not have enough time to dwell on this because not only did I pick up Wynn's scent, I picked up the scent of her spilt blood as well. Because they were still in their ultimate forms [+1], I motioned my guardians to take up positions around Shalimar. Dropping to all fours, I sauntered off to the south in the way of the scent.
After about five minutes of following the trail, I realized where we were headed. Picking up speed, I hurried to where the ruins of my house had been. When it came into view, I slid to a stop in shock.
My house used to be a simple condo. But now what stood in it's place was an extravagant Victorian house. While I was gaping at the house with a slack jaw, Wynn tackled me.
EDIT
"DRAGON!" Wynn yelled happily, squeezing my neck so hard she nearly snapped it.
"Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrr!" I gasped, prying at Wynn's arms.
"WYNN!" Shalimar squealed happily, hugging Wynn around my head.
"KILLING MOMMY! KILLING MOMMY!" I gasped, trying to pry the girls apart.
With the help of my guardians, I managed to pry the girls apart long enough to free my head and neck. Falling onto my back as the two girls were still hugging each other, I asked Wynn what had happened to her.
As it turns out, the five sprites meant no harm. They took my family to the gravel pit because they knew that Lord Aricus was there and by forcing me to fight him to protect my family, I would return to my power. They then had rebuilt my house and had Wynn guard it in case anyone "unauthorized" had attempted to gain access to blow it up yet again.
"Well what's to stop them from doing so again?" I asked. "Aside from the threat of me ripping them apart piece by piece over a six month period?"
"I will analyze their DNA," a computerized voice said as a small screen rose out of the ground. "And if it is not an authorized DNA sequence, I will forcibly eject them from the premesis."
"And why the hell didn't you do that before Nissa?" I asked, glaring at the screen.
"Because, uh...DOES NOT COMPUTE!" the computer screen said before dissappearing into the ground.
"Smart a**," I growled.
