Returning Home, 2

Rhonabwy had just left when Nerissa's sensors picked up a stranger on the premises. In less than a split nanosecond, Nerissa had scanned the stranger and not only picked up the fact that he had Xangord, Dragon, and Nogard...but that he shared DNA with them.

Sending her android form out to meet them, Nissa said to Larkin and Xink, "You two come with me. The three are back."

With the two following her, Nissa led the way outside to the far end of the property where she saw a giant black dragon landing and holding Xangord, Dragon, and Nogard each in a seperate claw. Moving forward, Nissa handed Xangord off to Xink, Dragon off to Larkin, and took Nogard for herself.

As the dragon transformed into his human form, Larkin gasped, "Unka Broden!?! I thought Nogard killed you!"

"If it makes you feel any better," Nogard said, leaning heavily on Nissa. "I thought I did too."

"It's going to take more than your aunt to kill me," Broden said to Larkin.

"Wait," Dragon said, pulling away from Larkin and glaring at her and Broden. "Did you call him Uncle?"

"Does he look young enough to be any brat of mine?" Nogard asked when Dragon glanced at her.

"He shares the same primary DNA markers as you and your sisters," Nissa said to Dragon. "I believe he is your brother."

"Older brother," Broden said. "By a thousand years. I should go though before certain males in the Dynasty know I am here."

Grabbing Broden's arm, Dragon said, "You're not going anywhere. You, me, Nogard, Xangord, and our apparently shared parents and grandparents are going to sit down and talk."

"I'd prefer not to," Broden said. "Avondale and Rhonabwy most likely won't be happy to see me."

"You," Dragon said, gripping Broden's arm hard enough to make the bone creak. "To the house. Now."

Broden apparently saw something in Dragon's eyes because he said, "Alright. Fine. Whatever happens though is on your head."
