"Who?" the one who went by Brisa [1] asked.

"Rose's psychotic uncle and aunt," Dragon replied.

"Damita [2] Rose has no other family other than Rhian [3] Lilah and Rian [4] Arxus," the one who went by Ildri [5] said. "Are you sure you're feeling alright, Damla?" [6]

"Your Highness's!" Brisa exclaimed as she and Ildri bowed to someone behind Dragon.

Turning about, Dragon faced three merpeople. Recognizing the one in the middle, Dragon said, "Rose!" Then, softer as she recognize the two on either side of the redhead, "Lilah...Arxus..."

Explaining Fighting the Staruda

"Wolfie, dear," Shalimar said--a bit of strain was in her voice. "Please explain how you fought the Staruda last time."

"It really wasn't a fight considering we were decimated," Wolf said. "Some jackass decided he wanted one of the bigger creatures out of the River. They used some dead body as a lure to draw the bigger fish out of the depths of the River and apparently a Staruda's favorite meal is dead bodies. Anyway, a Staruda was snagged and it defeated us in the same way this one beat the hell out of you and me."

Idea

Remembering that Shalimar was wearing a skull choker--and guessing who that may have come from--Lord Avondale said to Rose, "Rose, tell Shalimar to activate her pendant."

Meeting Simba

"Who is your mother?" someone asked from behind Xink.

Spinning around, Xink saw that there was a HUGE lion standing behind him with Kovu a little off to the side and about two steps back. Swallowing what felt like a big lump in his throat (probably fear), Xink said, "Xangord."

What happened next was the LAST thing Xink expected.

Snarling, the huge lion slapped Xink with his paw so hard he rolled over and over. Landing on his side, Xink shook his head to clear it--and was surprised when a heavy paw crushed him to the ground.

"Your mother was the cause for my world disappearing!" the lion growled. "And if not for Sora and Riku--"

"My father is Riku!!" Xink gasped. "Riku changed my mother! ... Please ... "

As Xink passed out beneath the weight of the lion's heavy paw, he heard Kovu say something. "Simba, he's like me. Give him a chance."
