Written in a spidery script
I have been following this last band of blue dragons for some time now since the matriarch landed on Gaia almost two years ago. There have been some interesting events that have happened and I am almost sure that with the way this family draws trouble like rotting meat draws flies, that trouble will continue to find them.
I myself have followed several dragon clans before this one and I have classified the eight stages they go through. After stating the stages, I will name which of the blue clan is in which stage as well as other important dragons they have come across in the last two years.
Hatchling 0 - 1 million years old. This is when a dragon is at it's weakest since it has little to none magical power and cannot use it's breath as a deadly weapon--although it does stink very badly.
Childe 1 - 2 million years old. Stronger than the hatchling but weaker than the young serpent, the dragon childe comes into its magical powers but cannot control them very well but still cannot use its breath as a weapon other than to make its enemies pass out from the stench.
Young Serpent 2 - 3 million years old. Now in full control of its magical powers, the dragon can concentrate on controlling its breath. Depending on the breed--to be listed in a later entry--can be one of the following: fire/acid, steam/ice/water, lightening, fire/air, fire, or fire/lightening.
Serpent 3 - 4 million years old. At this stage, a dragon has full control over their magic abilities and breath.
Elder Serpent 4 - 5 million years old. This is the time when a dragon is at the peak of their majestic looks.
Young Wyrm 5 - 6 million years old. Now the dragon's body begins to decay and their basic element seeps through cracks in their scaley armor.
Wyrm 6 - 7 million years old. Little is left of the dragon's scaley armor as they begin to look closer to their basic element.
Elder Wyrm 8 - ? million years old. At this point, elder wyrms have gone beyond physical form. Although in their basic element--fire, air, lightning, water--they still retain the shape of their draconic selves.
As for the dragons in the family of blue dragons that inhabit Gaia.
Shalimar & Wynn: Based off their ages, these two are Hatchling Dragons. However, they are not your normal Hatchlings. With the estimated depth of Wynn's magical well, she may equal that of an Elder Wyrm for her power. Considering how Shalimar was created, she most likely has the same strength and control of her magical powers that ten Dragon Serpents have. These two will continued to be watched to see if they assume their breaths at an early age--especially Shalimar.
Dragon, Nogard, Xangord: These three are on the edge of transforming from Serpents to Elder Serpents.
Lord Avondale, Lady Aizbeth, Lord Vhictor: Had they not been killed, Dragon's teacher and parents (respectively) would have been on the edge of transforming from Young Wyrms to Wyrms.
