This was probably a bad idea, Serenity thought as bullets slammed through her shield. Transforming the shield back into bokkens, Serenity landed in the midst of the four people. Having fallen to a knee, Serenity twisted as she shot to her feet bringing the bokkens up. Flipping backward as the machine gun fell into pieces, Serenity crossed her arms in front of her chest. Throwing them out to her sides in a kneeling position, Serenity released a shockwave of green light. Spinning out of the way, the four people dodged the shockwave.
Standing, Serenity took a moment to look them over.
The women were Rose and Raven from way back when Serenity first woke up. The men were wearing boots, blue jeans, and chambray shirts. One was going bald and the other had what appeared to be a mullet.
"Walter!" Roland growled.
"Hello there Roland, son of Steven," the man with the mullet replied with a grin. "How are you and your ka-tet doing?"
"Stay back," Serenity said to the others behind me while eyeing the four people in front of her.
