As the heartless rushed towards me, I tossed the spatula from my left to my right hand. Spinning around, I was shocked as a bolt of lighting shot out of the spatula and incenerated the heartless. Lifting an eyebrow, I looked at the spatula in my hand.
"Um. Okay then. I'm keeping this."
Tucking the spatula into a back pocket, I headed outside.
OPOPANAX DANGER!
Blinking, I raised a hand to my forehead. "What the hell...?"
OPOPANAX DANGER!
"Ow!" I said, sinking to a knee while kneading my forehead. "What's--?"
OPOPANAX DANGER!
Crying out, I curled up on the porch with my hands pressed against my forehead. Because of the amount of pain I was in, I was not aware that Dylan was kneeling next to me until he put a hand on my shoulder and spoke.
"What's wrong?"
"Opopanax danger!" I replied.
"What's that?"
"Hell if I know!" I replied. As the single lance of pain turned into multiple poison tipped arrow heads of pain, I rolled onto my back and growled, "Son of a--!"
Holstering his forcelance, Dylan started to pick me up and said, "Let's get you--"
"Wait," I said, sitting up as the pain suddenly stopped. Looking out towards the yard, I saw the remaining heartless dissappear--to the surprise of everyone but Xangord and myself. Climbing to my feet, I said to Dylan, "Keep everyone out here--Dragon's house is dangerous."
"But aren't--"
"Trust me, you'll only hinder instead of help," I replied, standing and going into Dragon's house and pulling the spatula out from my back pocket.
