Injured
If he had not been concentrating so intensely on his prey, he would have noticed that the hippopotamus had suddenly turned and was barreling towards him. It was not until it was too late that he realized that he was in danger.
Going as limp as possible, he could only hope that the hippopotamus wouldn't trample anything too vital as it ran over him. Knowing it was his only hope, he played dead. When he was sure the hippopotamus had left, he slipped through a small portal back into his own world where he began swearing as the pain overtook him as he transformed into his human form.
"Oh that b***h! That blind b***h! I should have killed her when I had the chance!"
Gritting his teeth, he focused his stolen powers to begin healing.

Getting to the Elephant Graveyard
"I'm sure you've heard of Simba," Kovu said. "The other two are also extended family--Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog. W--"
Sensing the wild dog had left the area, Flan pushed out with her powers to drive back the Heartless until there was a comfortable barrier of a thousand feet between her and them. < I've had freaking enough of those things. You can put me down now Loudmouth. >
"G'YAAA!!" Timon yelled, dropping Flan.
"G'YAAA!!" Pumbaa yelled in response to Timon as Flan fell off his back. Then, at the same time the two screamed again.
< I said PUT DOWN, not DROP, > Flan growled, climbing to her feet and dusting herself off. < And knock it off you two. >
"How are you doing that?" Pumbaa asked. "Speaking without using your mouth?"
< Because I'm special, Gasbag, > Flan said, climbing onto Dai's back. < Let's just get going. You, Loudmouth, turn around and watch our backs. Xangord knows we're here. >
"Xangord's here?" Simba asked as they started towards the Elephant Graveyard. Any Heartless in their way were battered aside by Flan's shield. "Why?"
"She was kidnapped by her former employers," Dai said, swinging her head back and forth to keep an eye on each side of them. "Dunno why."
"How could they capture her?" Simba asked. "She was a rather strong fighter unless there was a wind--even then she was quite formidable."
< Long story but she was weaker than Loudmouth and Gasbag at the time, > Flan said. < Mole, the edge drops off ahead and I can't see what's under it. Can you sense anything? >
"Why is she insulting the others?" Kovu asked Dai.
< I CAN hear you, Junior Furry, > Flan said. < I AM right here. >
"But that's no reason to insult everyone," Simba said.
< I've traveled a lot, met a lot of people, creatures, and things, > Flan said. < And every single one of them has ended up stabbing me in the back eventually. Except dragons. >

Following Orders
When Rose and n** exited the captain's room, Broden opened his mouth to object to Rose's orders, but n** placed a hand on his arm. Leaning close she said, "Do you want to cause an incident? She is well within her rights to claim leadership--not only does this spaceship belong to one of her servants, but also she now has the same status as Dragon."
Broden closed his mouth and nodded at Rose. But he did ask, "Where would n**'s room be located?"

Well s**t.
On an unrelated note, It may not be backstabbing YET, but you know that there's a dragon involved with her kidnapping, right Miss Flan? So you'd be indirectly ambushed due to a dragon after this. You can check that off the list of stuff that has backstabbed you depending on your definition.
