Getting Help
Dai said, "I could clear a--"
< Wait, > Flan said, cocking her head. < There's a group headed this way from the north--they just came within visual range for me to begin seeing through their eyes. >
"Can you tell what they are?" Dai asked.
< A meerkat riding on the back of a warthog and a pair of adult male lions, [1] > Flan replied. < The lions seem rather angry about your Heartless friends, Mole. >
"They can catch up," Dai growled, swatting at several Heartless that were swarming towards her.
< I think I can create a barrier with the help of those approaching, > Flan said, deflecting the Heartless that were in Dai's sight range. < They'll enable me to see in a full 360-de--Mole, there's a wild dog three hundred yards to the south. Do me a favor and try to kill it. >
"That's particularly vicious of you," Dai said. "Any reason?"
< I don't like dogs, > Flan replied. As she was grabbed again by a Heartless, Flan complained. < A little help? > [2]
At that moment, the other animals had arrived. The younger, darker of the two lions--as he was leaping into the air after the Heartless that had grabbed Flan--exclaimed, "Se'Rox! What are you doing here?!"
The warthog had ran beneath Flan as she was falling and the meerkat on its back caught her. "Kovu, who're your friends?"

What She Knows
"Your fear is well founded," n** replied. "I've only traveled between two dimensions with my discussions with Xangord and Nogard--both of whom have traveled across several--anything is possible. Hopefully she won't know about your idea on protecting me from the sun's UV rays."
"As a matter of powers, Taran may have more power than you think. Between just the three of us, you have the most magical abilities because you were born with them--Taran and I learned ours. Between Taran and I, he's still stronger than us because he's a higher ranked Dragoon than I as his master is a god while mine is the daughter of one."
"I wasn't about to tell Broden anything," n** said. "But this gives me a perfect excuse not to say anything. Also, it gives me an excellent idea on how to control him. Broden's all about the rules. Let's go. We should be there in about two hours and I'm going to need to rest--even with your fix I think I'm going to be weak under the sun."
