Arriving at Durem, Inali looked about. Walking over to a building, he began to gently run his hand over the side.
"What's Inali doing?" Reed asked in a stage whisper.
"No idea," O'Rane replied, also in a stage whisper.
Ignoring the two, Inali apparently found what she was looking for. Lifting his sniper rifle to her shoulder, Inali aimed at a mark he put on the wall and fired. [1]
"Was that a locker round?" Greco asked, having caught sight of a gold flash of light.
"I believe so," Blade replied. "And it also seems that Inali has found a wormhole to our target."

WTF?!
They had just been ushered out of the stadium for lunch when Lizbeth caught sight of Dai and Wolf. "Well crap."
"What?" Shalimar asked, looking at her grandmother.
"Your husband and Dragon's friend seem to have been captured," Lizbeth replied. They were too far away to see the collars around Wolf's and Dai's necks. "I wonder where Broden, n**, and Flan are?"
"I detect magic being released from the one known as Estefan," Nissa said just as Dai and Wolf were thrown forward towards the kitsune.
"It's a Draco-damned set up!" Shalimar said as she and Larkin started moving to rush to Wolf.
"No," Lizbeth said, grabbing the girls by the scruffs of their necks. "You'll only make things worse if you go in swinging. Let Dragon prove Estefan for what he is."
"A manipulating b*****d," Larkin growled.

Feeling a sudden itch on the back of her neck, Dragon absently scratched it as the kitsunes broke for lunch. As the food was presented, Dragon eyed it. Seeing Rose looking at her and Kyrre questioningly, Dragon said, "Battles for the throne tend to involve poisoning, among other things. I wouldn't put it beyond your competitor to pull a stunt like poisoning your food or drink."
The lunch was just getting started when a commotion started from outside. Instantly on her feet, Dragon placed herself in front of Rose and Kyrre--ready to drop her locks at any second. Seeing Dai and Wolf being unceremoniously carried in, Dragon said, "May I inquire to the reason for why my two associates are being treated so rudely?"
"For attempted murder of Lord Estefan!" one of the kitsune guards said.
Looking at the guard for several moments, Dragon started laughing. "Wolf and Dai? They're harmless!" Seeing the serious look on the kitsunes faces--and all but sneering look on Estefan's, Dragon said, "You're serious?"
Walking over to Wolf and Dai, Dragon squinted and saw the collars around their necks. Tilting her head, Dragon gestured for Wolf and Dai to draw close to each other. Touching the collars, Dragon realized that they were the same kind of collars found in the demon slaver's hide out.
"Dragon, I'm so sorry," Wolf said. Shooting a dark glance at Estefan, he said, "HE--"
Whatever Wolf was about to say was cut off as a surge of electricity flowed through Wolf and Dai--and by extension Dragon as she was still touching their collars. For a few seconds, the world went white and full of red pain.
Realizing she was lying on her back on the ground (apparently she had collapsed due to the unexpected shock), [2] Dragon coughed. Raising a hand in the air with her finger pointed skyward, Dragon groaned, "Okay...none of my...associates would deal...in such dangerous...accessories. Get me...Nissa, she'll...find the culprit."

Flan Hears A Voice, 2
< Son of a b***h I've been captured! > Flan exclaimed in thought speak.
< Yes genius, > the second voice said with exasperation. < Mind telling us how? >
Flan explained the details leading up to hers and the others capture. < If not for the kitsunes DAMNED paranoia, I would've heard them coming! >
< So what is your status now? > the first voice asked.
< Lightly strapped to a table, > Flan replied. "Looking" around, she added, < I'm in a lab that is super primitive compared to yours. >
"The blind one is awake!" one of the kitsunes still in the lab exclaimed. "Double her dosage!"
"It's over nine-thousand already!" another kitsune exclaimed. [3]
"Do it!" the first kitsune barked.
< Gotta go, Yin-Yang, > Flan said quickly.
Dropping all of her locks, Flan lashed out with her telepathy and threw kitsunes against the walls. Still using her telepathy, Flan threw off the straps holding her table. < NEVER! EVER! SCREW! WITH! THIS! b***h! >
"Flan when you have a moment," Broden said. "Mind helping n** and I out some?"

[2] The collars are set for magical being tolerances. With her powers locked down, Dragon really could've died from the massive amount of electricity coursing through her.
