Getting up, Lord Avondale walked over to Rose and gently forced her to sit. Placing a hand on her forehead, he looked into her eyes to make sure that she was not going to suffer from some sort of concussion.
Satisfied with what he saw, Lord Avondale said, "First, heal them--this will also cure your own pain that you're sharing with them. As you're doing that, have them describe what had attacked them."

Curious
Pausing on the threshold just inside the spaceship, Flan waited for Taran to return. She did, however, take the use of his eyes to get a feel for the space ship as she had never been in one before. As Taran walked by her, Flan followed him to the cabin of the ship and sat in the chair he directed her to.
<I understand the need for it, > Flan said as Taran was starting the spaceship up, <but I don't quite understand why you had locked Mosquito in that room. >

Running from the Hyenas
Realizing he was alone on a strange world, Xink sat down and wondered what to do. He wanted to remove the spell his mother put on him to turn him into a lion but he didn't know what spell it was. Because he couldn't remove the spell without know it first, Xink also thought he should go find his mom's friends, Simba and Nala--but had no idea where to start looking.
"Oh ho ho ho," someone said from above him. "What do we have here?"
Jumping to his feet and looking up, Xink saw three hyenas looking down at him with grins on their faces. One of the three was laughing hysterically. Backing up, Xink began to growl. He would have preferred to use magic but in his current form he had no access to his mana.
"Is that a rattle of stones?" the female hyena laughed as she and the two male hyenas jumped down from their perch over the cave and approached Xink. "Isn't that just cute?"
"Don't make me hurt you!" Xink said.
The three hyenas laughed hysterically at that. Choking back her laughter, the female hyena said, "You? Hurt us! That's just TOO funny! I think I feel like having me a cub sandwich!"
"We could have whatever's 'lion' around!" one of the male hyenas said, bringing forth a fresh gale of hysterical laughter from the other hyenas.
Noticing the three hyenas were rolling in the dirt laughing at their own stupid jokes, Xink spun around and bolted away.
"Hey! Get back here!" one of the hyenas called as the three began to chase Xink.

Visiting the Rejected Olympics, part 5
After what seemed like an eternity to Dragon, Indivar and Rosalba removed their hands from Dragon's forehead.
"D'gooohaaa," Dragon said, collapsing. If not for Ette and Nate catching her, she would've landed face down. Her muscles completely useless, Dragon was staring at the roof of the tent though she spoke to Indivar and Rosalba. "Oh. Yeah. I thought he was only joking."
"Our Master does not jest about matters such as those," Indivar and Rosalba replied. "As the debt has been remembered and re-payed, our Master now--"
Suddenly, the two were engulfed by red-hot flames--causing the other Gaians to scatter.
"******** steal her power!? I'll take your lives!"
"Stop you idiot!"

Ack. Does that mean that Flan is being a naive "child" compared to 1K years old+ Taran?
You sure you never wrote for Disney? Nailed the Hyenas perfectly.
Somehow I feel this is going to get worse before it gets better. Like an RPG.
