"Excuse me?" n** asked.
"Only the blood of a human vampire can cure LLM," Dragon said. "You are a vampire."
"I thought I told Nerissa no bio scans on me," n** growled, pounding the wall and creating a dent.
"Breaking my ship isn't going to reverse the fact," Dragon replied. "Nor certain obvious signs."
"I don't want anyone to know."
"You, me, Nerissa, and Nissa will be the only ones. Shalimar won't remember anything."
"You sure?"
"Yes. I've seen it happen before. When I was little."
"Well, alright," n** said. "Where is she?"
"Her quarters."
"Okay. You get the ship going to save Nogard and Xink. I'll take care of Shalimar."
"No, I'm coming."
"Not if you want me to do this."
After a pause, Dragon said, "Fine."

Reluctant Acceptance
"Yes, I did call you Xangy," Holly said. "And I'll continue calling you that until you calm the hell down."
Sighing, Xangord relaxed. "You realize you're bleeding annoying?"
"So I've heard. Now you'll behave?"
"For now..." Xangord replied. Looking over at Rose, Xangord said, "Between Taran and n**...n** seems more like the one to steal your ship to come after me. Don't get me wrong, Sai Taran, you seem you would take the ship too--but only after getting permission."
Summoning a chair to sit on Lord Avondale said to Rose, "She's right you know. Taran doesn't seem like someone who would break orders easily."

Setting Off
Returning to the Med Deck, Dragon took one quick look at everyone and said, "Alright. Last call. We are leaving in a few minutes for the Renstok world. Those who do not wish to go may leave. Those who wish to stay come with me to Command. I'm going to need a few positions filled."
"I want weapons..." Xangord said.
"No, you're healing," Dragon said. "Wynn? You want weapons?"
"Yes," Wynn said.
"I shall take life support," Lord Avondale said.
"I'll make sure Xangord keeps her butt here," Holly said.
"The ABC are off making some surprises for us to bring to the Renstok," Dragon said. Looking at Rose's group, she said, "I need a few more on weapons--no Xangord you are staying put--so who's staying?"
