Double distractions
Still trying to find the source of the GODS AWFUL TICKING, I at first did not realize that I had been addressed with a question. Unconsciously opening and closing my hands, I asked, "S'wha?"
Appearing next to me, Nissa said, "We'll be approaching the docking port in about five minutes. And if--" she added, looking at me pointedly, "--someone would go to the bridge, we will be able to dock and then take a charter ship to the surface."
Her hologram form appearing on the other side of me, Nerissa said, "Lia Alit Iil-tia does not allow for personal transport ships such as one of my fighters or for Dragonfly to land."
"Funny story behind that," I said. Realizing I was flexing my hands, I stopped. "Nothing involving me of course!"
If the ticking wasn't bad enough...I've got to put up with the pain too....damn it all.
