When Rommie and were back in the basement, Andromeda took one look at Nerissa's computer and said, "What happened?"
"A blast of negative energy," I replied. Turning to Adam, I said, "Adam, this is Andromeda Ascendant, she's like Nissa. Andromeda, this is Adam Kane, super genius."
"Nice to meet you," Adam said.
"Likewise," Rommie replied, placing her hands on Nerissa's computer.
"What's she doing?" Adam asked me.
"Accessing the AI mainframe to try and restore it from within," I replied. "I...guess."
From the corner of my eye, I saw a
slipfighter land next to the Eureka Maru. Without a word, I left the basement to go greet the two new comers.
[+1]Hearing the sounds of fighting from out front, the blonde haired woman looked at me and asked, "Who the hell are you?"
"A friend," the gold woman replied. When the blonde looked at her, she shrugged with a shoulder and said, "At least...I assume so."
"You are correct," I replied, fighting back a grin. "Captian Valentine; Captian Hunt and Lt Commander Rhade are out front fighting Heartless and need your help. Miss Gemini, please come with me. There are those in need of your healing techniques."
As Beka ran to the front of the house, I showed Trance into the basement.
"Who are you?" Adam said, his face revealing the shock at Trance's alien appearace.
"A friend," I replied. "Trance Gemini, Adam Kane. Adam, she's here to help you with the injured."
With everything in control in the basement, I went upstairs to check on the fight. The minor heartless had already been destroyed and all that was left was the boss. Hearing a noise behind me, I saw one of the minor heartless had slipped by and was ransacking Dragon's house in search of something. Following it into the kitchen, I faced it while digging into the drawers behind me in search of a weapon.
Suddenly, the heartless turned to face me.
Grabbing the first thing my fingers touched, I pulled out a...a rubber spatula. Sighing, I looked at the spatula and said, "Oh man...well if it worked for Greer

[+2] Greer from one of my short stories called Slayers; eventually to be seen on DA. Greer found her weapon much like Holly did hers--in the middle of a fight with frantic pilfering of a drawer without really checking first.
