Glad that mom decided to stay and not follow the strangers, I glanced at Wynn and grinned. Instantly knowing what my smile meant, Wynn dropped to all fours and ran. Transforming into my
dragon form, I chased off after her.
A few minutes later, Nissa's android form walked up to us. "C'mon guys. Dragon's sending us to go find Moochi."
" 'Find Moochi'?" Wynn asked with disdain. "Where'd the stupid mutt get to?"
"Be nice," I said to Wynn. To Nissa, I asked, "Do you have a lock on him?"
"It's faint," Nissa replied. "But it's to the north."
"Let's go then," I said, gesturing for Nissa to lead the way.
"Oh why not stay and play?" a faintly familer voice asked. "Especially you, Nieva."
The three of us spun around to face a male neko.
"Lexius," Wynn growled, her voice dripping with a deep seated hatred I did not expect from her.
"Who?" I asked.
"Koopa's brother," Nissa replied, glaring at the male neko. "Lexius Pyra."
"And the b*****d who had me sealed within a crystal for who knows how long," Wynn said to me. To the male neko, she snarled, "I am called WYNN now."
"Is that the name that fool of a four blood demon gave you?"
Ignoring his question, Wynn snapped, "What do you want?"
"You, dear," the male neko said. "If I can harness your powers again, the other three will easily fall."
Standing in front of Wynn and Nissa, I said to them, "Get Moochi, then go home and get mom. I'll hold him off."
"You're no match for him!" Wynn said.
"That's why you've got to hurry!" I said over my shoulder. "Now go!"
"I'll stay, you go," Nissa said.
"He's a fire element Nis," I said. "And I'm a water element. You're just an avatar. I have a better chance against him than you do. Now go, that's an order."
"Oh this is going to be fun," the male neko said, grinning.
