Appearing in the rubble of the old Gambino Mansion on Isle De Gambino, the Dylos grabbed her injured shoulder and stumbled out of the wreckage.

That damned green haired child...I swear I will kill her like the others.

Satisfied that the dragon's mind was fully locked away, the Dylos dove into the ocean and swam to the steadily growing Dylos stronghold.

Doing one last backflip, the Dylos alighted on the ocean bed. Looking about, it saw several other Dylos going about their normal daily routines. As the others noticed it, the other Dylos swam over to greet the one who had taken over Dragon. Among the Dylos, the two that had taken over the blue dragon and her counterpart were considered the leaders. Blessing Dylos eggs on it's way to the castle, the Dylos quickly reached the castle.

Swimming up to the higest tower, the Dylos alighted on the open peak across from a Dylos wearing all white.



"I see you finally got her under control," the other Dylos said in their native language.

"You got the easier of the two to overshadow. This one had a child that she was fiercly protective of."

"This one was much harder than you would expect. She is very independent."

"Either way, we have what we came for. We--"

Doubling over, the two dylos knelt to the ground as their mind captives attempted to take over. Against the Dylos' will, the two began to walk towards each other with their hands reaching out towards each other.

"We musn't let them touch!"

Using diffrent techniques, the Dylos began their futile attempts to reel in their captives and seal them away again.

Straining, the dylos used every ounce of their strength to keep the dragons from touching and combining their powers...but it was just...too...much. Yelling triumphantly, the two dragons touched. Combining their powers for the first time in their entire lives, Dragon and Nogard forced the dylos out of themselves.

"Dragon, get out of here," Nogard said, staggering a bit.

"Not about to happen," Dragon replied, catching Nogard. "We leave together."

"You've got to see to your family!" Nogard growled, shoving Dragon away.

Pausing a moment, Dragon looked at the demon who had inhabited her mind and body for her entire life. All her life, Dragon had struggled against this demon beliving it to be evil incarnate. Yet there was one instance where the demon set aside it's own desire for power and rescued Dragon with the help of Larkin. Here again, the demon known as Nogard was sacraficing herself to save Dragon.

Casting her mind back, Dragon realized there were other instances that Nogard had done as such. Counting all the instances up, Dragon realized that Nogard had saved her life over five thousand times--and who knows how many other times when Dragon had been unconsious.

"Nogard," Dragon asked, "are you really--"

"MOVE YOU FOOL!" Nogard yelled, leaping in the path of a green blast of light one of the dylos had fired at Dragon.



Gasping, Dragon felt a faint twinge in her stomach as the extreme pain that Nogard felt radiated over to her. In that moment, Dragon began to understand just how closely she and the demon were linked. Putting Nogard on her back, Dragon transformed into her dragon form and sped as quickly as she could to the surface. Little did Dragon know was that she was bleeding.
