Oi...dylos and dragon slayers...they both suck.
Opening my eyes, I saw I was lying in Chazu's bed
again, but bandaged up this time. Moving slowly, not only to not wake Rose up, but to avoid further pain, I climbed out of bed and headed to the WTGR.
After a few hours there, I managed to return to my full size and came back to Chazu's house to break the spell he claimed was on the house that was preventing him from coming home. Reverting to my dragon form, I grimaced as bones ground against each other and elogninated in the transformation--a process that doesn't normally hurt.
Whenever I am in my dragon form, not only is the world filtered in blue, but I can also see magical auras and gage their strength. Assessing Chazu's home, the only magical auras I saw were within the house--Rose, her pets, Eria, Raina, and the warp holes.
There's no spell here, I thought, sitting in an upright position, curling my tail around my feet, and cocking my head to the left.
Why would he--Feeling a p***k in my left flank, I swiveled my head around and saw a spear buried half way in. Grumbling a little, I pulled the spear out--but the tip had broken off inside.
Damnit..."DEMON LIZARD!" someone yelled from my right. "You killed Lolita! For this you will pay!"
I'm a dragon, I don't do that tounge thing, I thought-spoke, turning to face a knight in full armor and weilding a rather familer sword.
Who in the hell is Lolita?"
My green phoenix!" the knight said, wildly waving the sword about.
Well I've eaten a quite a few green phoenixes, so you'll have to be more specific, I replied.
And did Glendale give you permission to use Orchion?"You killed her while a hatchling looked on!" the knight retorted, rushing forward with the sword aimed at my right flank. "I stole this sword from a sleeping slayer so I could kill you!"
That's what I thought, I replied, suddenly whipping my tail out. Careful to not let Orchion's blade touch me, I slammed my tail into the knight and sent him flying. Grumbling, I twisted my head around to examine the wound.
Damn spears, I thought.
The wound is too small for me to get the tip out with my teeth or claws and if I transform back into my human form the pain will be excruciating...And how in the hell did that spear get through my scales anyway?Suddenly my body clamped up and I fell onto my side. On accident, a spray of boiling hot steam shot out of my mouth and obliterated a corner of Chazu's home.
Oshitoshitoshitoshitoshitoshitoshitoshit! I thought, not only in fear of who I may have accidentally hit since there were some auras in that corner of the house; but in fear of what was happening to me.
Ground melora petals! They fully paralyze a dragon, making them vulnerable to attack! I need to get the speartip out!Trying to reach those still in side the house, I became even more frightened when I realized I couldn't touch any of their minds. [********, that's right! Ground melora petals also prevent a dragon from calling for help by locking their mind. Shitshitshit! If I get out of this, I am going to kill that rookie slayer AND Glendale for letting Orchion get stolen!

Bold italics would be a conversation held using telepathy. Regular italics is just a thought process in my mind no one has access to becuase I unconsiously have a mental barrier up to prevent spying.
A melora flower looks like a cross between a rose and a tulip and can be any color of the rainbow. By themselves, melora flowers are harmless. But grind the petals up, you'll have a good dragon paralyzer that can pierce even the toughest dragon scales.
