"So what do you think happened?" Woody asked.
"I'm guessing either strangulation," Jordan replied, indicating what appeared to be a rope mark around the girl's neck. Pointing at random bruises on the girl's face, Jordan added, "Or someone beat her."
"Look at her hands," Nigel said, holding up one of the girl's hands. "They're covered in severe burns."
"What the hell happened to her?" Woody wondered aloud, looking at the girl.
She was wearing a loose red silk shirt over a tight black jumpsuit, black baggy pants, black combat boots, and black gloves with the fingers cut off. She had a strange headband tied about her forehead with the tails hanging down to her knees. Her hair was red at the crown of her head but faded to yellow near the tips. Her open eyes revealed that her eyes may have once been the same color of emeralds, but were now only a deadened green.
As Woody watched in surprise, the girl's bruises disappeared. "Did anyone else see that?"
"See what?" Jordan asked.
"Her bruises," Woody replied. "They healed by themselves!"
