Dream Sequence
"Get up, Dragon, we need to talk."
Groaning, I opened my eyes and looked about. I was lying face down on a center stone in a ring of stones--humans would call this location Stonehenge a few thousand years into the future. Groaning, I pushed myself into a sitting position and looked about some more. Leaning against some power stones across from me was a hooded figure. Somehing about him was strangely familier.
"We don't have much time," the hooded figure said. "So don't interupt or ask questions. Okay?"
"Um, okay."
"First and foremost, about your bio scanner; that was my doing. I had to alter your DNA a little to prevent the Dyols from finding you again. They can't track hybrids. As for your family; they're safe, I transported them to Nogard's castle--"
"You WHAT?!!"
"I asked that you not interrupt. They are safe. Nogard knows that if she touches them in any harmful way; she will be destroyed in a rather bloody mess. Further, you are in severe danger from the Dyols. Continue to stay at the homes of your friends since you cannot be further tracked there. Do not, I repeat DO NOT, go back to your house. You will most likely be killed by the Dyols if you do."
"But--"
"No, now you must go. I know you have plenty of questions for me but I cannot answer them."
As everything darkened, the figure lowered his hood and I caught a momentary glimpse of the face beneath it.
"Dad...?"

Closing the blinds, Eria said, "Dragon? Are you okay?"
"Where am I?"
"Chazu's place."
"Oh," I replied. Leaning over the bed, I threw up. Once the dry heaves were past, I muttered, "Too much trank..."
Cleaning up the mess, Eria said, "Don't worry about it. You stay put and get some rest."
"Okay..."
