That's...Not Right
Shortly after she had transformed into a fox, Annamarie found herself surrounded by kitsunes. They quickly cut the branch that Flan had been attached to and hurried the two of them to Green Shade where the queen began to heal Flan.
At first, Annamarie attempted to talk to them, to tell them what had happened--but all that came out was a series of yips. Realizing this was getting her nowhere, Annamarie sat back on her haunches to carefully consider her options.
When kitsunes started approaching her to shoo her out of the room, Annamarie stood up and growled. She had no plans on leaving her mother and these furb--Annamarie suddenly quit growling and tilted her head.
Closing her eyes and lowering her head, Annamarie released a howl as pain suddenly reverberated through her. After about thirty seconds, Annamarie's howl of pain faded away and she opened her eyes. Instead of forepaws in front of her, Annamarie saw her hands. Instead of a pale peach color, they were orangy-red with stripes of black running up them. Standing, Flan saw the kitsunes were staring at her. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw she had nine black tipped red tails sticking out of her butt.
Looking back at the kitsunes, Annamarie said, "Right. Um...anyone have a mirror?" [1]

Minute Changes
Sighing, Shalimar opened her eyes as a series of howls died away. Realizing she was in her feline form, Shalimar carefully got her feet beneath her and attempted to shakily stand up.
"No, not yet," someone said over her and gently pressed her down. "You're not strong enough."
"If you don't get that damned paw out of my back," Shalimar said carefully, "I will break it off and shove it up your a--"
"Dear," the person said, lowering his head into Shalimar's line of sight. "You're not even strong enough for foreplay yet. Give the spells a chance to work."
"Wolf!" Shalimar exclaimed as she recognized the black wolf face with blue eyes. "What happened? Where are we?"
"We are at my home," Wolf replied. "You were badly injured and the only ones I trust to have cured are of my own pack."
"But what happened?" Shalimar asked. "My senses are a bit more sensitive than they were before."
"Well--" Wolf began.
"DAMNIT NO!" Larkin called from the other side of a stand of trees. Shalimar was surprised to see a golden wolf run around them and up to Wolf. "Your mother is freaking crazy!!! Tell her to leave me alone!"
"Mother?" Shalimar asked.
