Spinning me around into a hug, Creighton--who was a full foot taller than I am--said, "I heard what happened..."
"Who is this?" Urina asked, stepping forward.
"This is Creighton," I replied. "He was one of my hatchling-mates."
"Hatch what?"
"Our mothers shared a nest," Creighton replied.
"So you're a...blue dragon?" Urina asked. "I thought Dragon was the last."
"He is and I thought I was," I replied. Turning to Creighton, I asked, "How DID you survive?"
"You may have been a prodigy because of how strong your powers were at our age...but they can only reach so far," Creighton replied. In a more subdued tone, he explained, "Lord Avondale knew that something bad was going to happen back in January and he sent me on a mission to the other side of the galaxy. By the time I got back, rumors were flying about of you killing the rest of our clan because of that b*****d red dragon and that negative twin of yours Nogard. Then, before I could find you, I heard more rumors of you loosing your powers."
"The rumors are true," I said, looking at the ground and scuffing it with my foot. "Both for what happened in January and for me loosing my powers."
"She belives Orsnic took her heart," Urina said.
"He's still alive?" Creighton asked, taken aback.
"It's a theory," I replied.
"Better than nothing," Creighton said.
As I was about to say something else, a tendril shot out of the ground and slammed Urina across the clearing and into a tree. Whiplashing, the tentril turned into a vine that wrapped around my waist and pulled me away from Creighton.
Turning into his dragon form
(which, is the dragon in this picture), Creighton sped after the tendril. Hiting the tendril with an artic blast, Creighton froze the tendril in place. Using his tail as a hammer, Creighton slammed it against the tendril and shattered it into a thousand pieces.
"It's good to have another Blue Dragon around," I said as creighton caught me. "Grab Urina and let's go see in the WTGR."
