Frowning, I looked back at Urina, "I told you to go home and to stop gimping around on that damn leg woman!"
"I've been assigned to protect you and I will do my job," Urina replied resolutely, leaning against a tree. We were in the woods between the Durem Reclamation Facility and Barton West Field.
"I'm gonna be fine now go home!" I said. "It's an hour's walk from here to home and you're not going to make it if you don't go now!"
"The last time you were out looking for traces of this Orsnic guy you were seriously injured," Urina replied.
"B'dbah," I replied, waving a hand at Urina. "I'm fine aren't I? The WTGR was close and Chazu was there to heal me."
"But you were also very lucky," Urina replied. Cocking her head to the left, Urina suddenly lurched torward me and shoved me to the ground.
"The hell--?" I started to say when Urina knelt down and placed a hand over my mouth to silence me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow flit across the ground.
Stay here, Urina mouthed, only moving when I nodded several times and gave her a thumbs up sign. Stalking into the woods, Urina drew her Slikajin.
After a few seconds, I rolled over as quietly as I could and rose to my feet. Wishing I had my enhanced dragon senses, I tried to tell if there was any danger near me--when suddenly I was wrapped in a headlock. "URINA!"
Rushing back through the forest, Urina appeared again and took one look at me and whoever had me in the headlock. As Urina rose the Slikajin, I saw the reflection of myself and the
person who had me in a headlock.
"Hoshit!" I exclaimed, reconizing the person even in his human form. "URINA STOP! IT'S CREIGHTON! STOP! HE'S COOL!"
