So, if you read yesterday's entry, you know where this is going. Because everyone expected the billing system mentioned in yesteray's entry to start working some time in the night, I offered to come in 30-minutes early to help file forms I knew were going to be stacked over 2-inches thick.
I spent 4.5 hours filing paper payment forms. Then I spent the rest of my 10.5 hour shift filing electronic forms to add notes and make price plan / feature changes.
Note, normally I work 8:30a - 7:30p with an hour lunch at noon. today I worked 8a - 7:30p with a half hour lunch at noon. Normally, I work 10 hours. today I worked 11 hours (1 hour of over time and 11 hours of 10% of my normal pay being added to my next paycheck).
When I left, there was still at least 1.5-inches of forms left.
When I left, it was (and still is!) 8 degrees Farenheight with wind gusts up to 15mph making the chill factor to -20 degrees farenheight. I know this is normal for February, but damnit! the entire month of January (except for a freak day with ice) was in the 60's!
