This is coming to you from a p****d, injured, and bunnified dragon.
I live in an apartment building--two apartments on the second floor and two on the first floor. I'm on the second floor just at the head of the stairs. So between my last couple of posts and now I was involved in a domestic dispute of sorts.
So, anyway, I had heard screaming and yelling from apartment 1 (first floor opposite of my apartment). At first I didn't do anything because I was thinking it was the neighbors across the alley but it dawned on me that it was the people in my apartment.
So I go down to the apartment and knock on the door to find out what's going on. They didn't hear me because they were screaming too loudly at each other so I knocked a little harder. Still no answer but I knew that something bad was happening.
I called 911 and told them what was going on then I tried the door. As stupid as humanity is, this couple knew well enough to lock their door. Instead of kicking the door down, I repeatedly rammed my shoulder against it until the locks broke.
I dislocated my shoulder doing that but i didn't realize it until later.
So what I saw was this 7-foot tall 500-pound redneck guy advancing on this toothpick thin, shorter than me asian chick with a knife in the air. Instead of waiting for the cops, I darted in, jumped on Bubba's back, and wrenched the knife away.
I'm no black belt and couldn't really fight to save my life but this guy seemed frightened of me (note: I'm about 5'6" and a bit of a toothpick myself). I kept him at bay and the Asian lady at bay since she was just as mad at him as he was at her until the cops came and took them away.
The only good thing I got out of this is the goooooood meds that kill pain. I haven't had those since I was in my car wreck a few years back--but that's not something I wanna go into right now.
