Explaining the Pendant
"You remember The Skull King?" Lord Avondale asked. "He's one of Shalimar's uncles. I believe that pendant Shalimar wears on her choker is one of his little toys."
After a second or two, Lord Avondale said, "And if it can do what I think it should with Shal's easily manipulated DNA, the only one who'll be able to reverse the effects when needed is you."
"Tell Wolf to follow Shalimar and report back anything she does."

TSK pt2
After Skully had put himself together, Xangord said, "What did you do to Shalimar?"
"I gave little Shali a pendant," Skully replied, "a very special one at that."
"What does it do?" Xangord asked.
"It grants her all of my powers of course, she is my Princess after all," Skully replied, shrugging while smiling his menacing smile as his red eyes emerged from the black sockets of his skull and looked directly at Xangord, "You see my dear; I have big plans for our niece. And I can't have her going off and dying on me anytime soon so I gave her a little gift of…assurance."
This last was said with a menacing chuckle that echoed through his halls.
Xangord stared straight into his blood red eyes knowing that they had no effect on her as long as she was in his realm "What do you plan on doing with Shalimar?"
"I plan on fighting her…and winning," Skully replied smugly. Cluthing his long clawed gauntlets into fists, Skully said, "Who else would make a better opponent for me then the daughter of the only one to best me in battle--the one I trained myself, and the one who has every power I myself poses…she is perfect!"
Removing her glasses and rubbing the bridge of her nose, Xangord said, "You do realize that Shalimar's actually quite stronger than her mother?"
"Rrrreeeaaallllyyy????" Skully asked, his eye sockets convulsing into black hearts with red centers.
"Yes," Xangord said, putting her glasses back on and glaring at Skully. "And neither of them know this. Nor do either of them know that Shal's daughter Larkin is four times stronger than the two of them combined."
"How do you know this?" Skully asked.
"I watch them," Xangord said. "I gauge their powers by their movements."
"You and I must talk," Skully replied gleefully. "W--"
"If you're as powerful as you seem to be," Xangord said. "Then I challenge you to heal Dragon and restore Nogard's Inner Fire."
Staring at Xangord for a moment or two, Skully snapped his fingers. "Drop Dragon into the acid bath and throw Nogard into the Fire Barrel."
