Drinking Blood
n** knew that even though she was a dragon and had keener senses than humans, Shalimar still wouldn't be able to sense her. Vampires do not have any scent to track and--depending on the age of the blood in the vampire--can move without making a single sound.
And n** was given a transfusion by the second oldest vampire as well as allowed to drink from vampires older than her. She was practically indestructible. Sadly.
"Who's there?" Shalimar asked, looking about.
Although, dragons were able to sense when there is a disturbance in the air around them. To cure her, n** would have to move fast and only hope she was strong enough to overpower Shalimar. Allowing her hunger to take over, n** went into full predatory mode.
Diving from the ceiling behind Shalimar, n** landed behind her silently. Wrapping an arm around Shalimar's chest to pin her arms, n** violently pulled her head to the side to expose the neck.
Roaring, Shalimar bucked and attempted to unfurl her wings to throw n** off. Before she could transform into her dragon form, n** buried her fangs into Shalimar's neck and drank. Her struggles waning, Shalimar sank to the floor as n** drank from her neck.
Rarely did n** allow herself to become overcome by the swoon of images that surfaced in the blood--but then again she had never drank from any thing other than a human. As she drank, n** saw all of Shalimar's memories from the moment she hatched to this moment in time.
Dragons have a lot of blood in them, n** thought. She could feel herself healing as she continued to drink. And if I transfuse with her, I may go back to looking like a wraith...

A Decayed Slip Stream [+1]
As she reached the bridge, Dragon said, "All ready, Nissa?"
Getting out of the pilot's seat, Nissa said, "Aye. The stream is decayed so it's going to be rough."
"Fun," Dragon said, sitting in the pilot's seat. Over her shoulder to the others, she said, "Hang on to something and try not to upchuck. None of you have really been slip streaming and sadly your first experience is going to be a rough one."
Without waiting for an answer, Dragon opened a portal [+2] and flew in--doing so threw everyone back a little. Almost instantly, the Nerissa Altsoba began to vibrate and shake. Every few minutes, the ship jerked violently to the left or the right and sparks flew out of several control panels.
"This really hurts you know," Nissa said. "And by the way, the stream is collapsing behind us."
"I know," Dragon said. "Just...a...few...more...seconds..."
A split second later, everyone was thrown forward violently. [+3]

Science Deck 3
When the door to Science Deck 3 opened, Ikkit looked up for a moment to see who entered. Seeing the group that entered, Ikkit looked over at Kaida and nodded. Turning her attention back to the vial she was working on, she slapped Tikki's paw away from adding Compound 9 to the mix--it would have created a devastating explosion.
Flying over to the group, Kaida said, "Hello there! I'm Kaida. Who may you all be?"
"Orly?" Bankosu asked, flopping over to the group. "Orly?"

[+2] The less a slip stream is used, the more decayed it becomes and becomes very bumpy. It is not wise to travel a decayed slip stream string because it could collapse on you while you're traveling it and kill you.
[+3] Generally, entering and exiting slip stream is like getting shoved gently. Yet, when you exit a decaying portal, it's like getting shoved face down on gravel.
