n**'s PoV
Turning on the four Renstok--because they were easier to get to, n** moved towards them so quickly they did not realize she was there until it was too late. Ripping the Renstok apart like they were rag dolls and drinking the bitter black blood, n** caught the scent of more Renstok.
Flashing a dangerous grin, she moved through the Dragonfly and made short work of the remaining Renstok. If she was not tearing the Renstok apart, she was ripping their throats open and drinking the fount of that delicious--but very bitter--black blood.
Reaching the portal where the Renstok were coming through, n** saw that--amid the Renstock still filtering through--that there was a projector that was holding the portal open. Although the projector looked like it was made out of material as tough as dragon scale, n** crushed it beneath her fist with a single blow. Dimly, she thought that if she wasn't bezerk, it probably would have hurt her hand. Killing the last of the Renstok, n** took a moment to look around her.
Shoved forward by a blow from behind, n** looked down in surprise at the barbed arrow head sticking out of her chest. Looking at the portal, she saw it was closing as a Renstok arm was withdrawing with a cross bow in its hand. Before the Renstok could with draw its arm completely, the portal closed and severed the arm just below the elbow.
Touching the tip of the arrow head, n** fell to her knees. "Ow." Falling to her side, n** closed her eyes.

My PoV
"And these are robes not kimonos," Shalimar said.
"Whatever," Wynn said. "I still don't like it."
Sensing something behind me, I spun around at the same time shoving Shalimar and Wynn behind me--even though they were more than capable of taking care of themselves. Looking at the scaley claw of a blue dragon, I craned my head back to look up into its face.
"Hello granddaughter," the dragon said, "great-granddaughter, and sai Wynn."
"Did you just call them 'granddaughter' and 'great-granddaughter'?" Wynn asked.
"That he did," a green dragon said.
Looking around, I saw we were suddenly surrounded by ten giant dragons. Knowing my dragon form wouldn't come up to the elbow joint of the forelegs of the dragons, I said. "Well I feel kinda small."
"Mom," Shalimar said in awe. "I think these are the old dragon gods..."
"Aye little one," the copper dragon said. "I am Draco. Aden is bronze, Thermail is red, Celedyre is brass, Lofwyr is gold, Vestrivan is green, Rhonabwy is blue, Sirrurg is silver, Masaru is black, and Hestaby is white."
"We do not have long to explain, granddaughter," Rhonabwy said. Gently touching my forehead with his claw, he said, "That will explain everything and tell you where to look for your sister and nephew."
"Bring Nogard back alive and back to normal or I'll kill you," Masaru snarled.
Before I could respond, there was another flash of light and Shalimar, Wynn, and I were back on the Nerissa Altsoba and in our normal clothes.
"Whoa," Wynn said.
"Dragon are you okay?" Nissa asked.
Touching my forehead, I said, "Uh-huh." Looking at Rose, I asked, "Calm down, rose. My.....grandpa.....wanted to have a word with me and the girls."
