This book contains the feel of a traditional knight, princess, villian novel but it really does have a different story of its own.
Sixteen year old Silvano da Montacuto has a wonderful life. He has a good family, he's handsome and accomplished and can ride through Perugia, Italy with his falcon, Celeste. When Silvano is accused of a murder he didn't commithe gets sent to a Franciscan Friary waiting for his name to be cleared. Meanwhile Chiara is a commoner with no money. She's sent to a convent agaist her will, and looses all hope of a happy future. The two meet and find companionship in a place least expected. However murder threatens to rip apart that connection. With Silvano accused once again they set out to find the real killer.
Its romatic and cute. One of those that you cuddle with at night. If you don't like the dashing gentleman and the swooning ladies don't bother.
