Love Cajun Style was sent to me through the mail through my Mimi's book of the week thingy at Oxford, Missisipi. It was one where I didn't pick it up automaticly. its not really a fantasy its about an every day life of a southern girl growing up. So it took me nothing to read to pick it up.
This book is really good though. I didn't expect the life she lived and how interesting it could be. Basicly its following a girl who has normal crazy freinds, a potential boyfreind, and a somewhat questionable teacher at school that gives her too much attention. Her parent's relationship seem something doubtful, and it seems everything that could ever happen to a teenager does happen to her.
Why did people say they were "falling in love"? Why didn't they step in love, or slide into it like a baseball player heading for home? Was it the thrill, like jumping off a high dive, or the fear of not knowing how they might land?
Really good book. Slow to begin but worth the time.
