my family has a very interesting way of celebrating the new year. The first thing we do is clean the house. as weird as that sounds it's supposed to rid you of all your short comings from the past year... but i think it's my moms way of getting us to clean our rooms. My mom believes that your actions on new years eve and new years day show how you will act for the new year. Funny, i was cleaning, gaia-ing, and snacking.. i hope that's not a sign of things to come.
understanding our culture is another thing to remember during new years.
we first wear red for good luck
eat noodles for long life
pop fireworks for scare the bad luck away
new years is just as interesting as all the other holidays why? because of fire...
i love blowing things up and making things explode. (if you know what i mean)
