Surprising that a knitting fetish would go under day's events? Heck, I'm surprised too. Anywho, I have strong reason to believe that this fetish of mine has it's good and bad sides to it. A little background-in Leadership (basically a student-run government type thing. Student counsil if you will) class, we all hjave to do personal projects for our final symester grades. I choose one of them offered by Mrs. Driver. And what was it? yup, knitting. Needless to say, I was frustrated with it at the begining but I soon got the hang of it. What am I knitting exactlly? little premi baby caps for babies so that they can keep warm. Yeah, I know-how sweet. And it's all for a good cause too, plus I get the added bonus of having some community sevice hours under my belt. (To graduate, we need at least 220 hours of community service.)
well, I finally finish my first ever hat and I can hardly contain my excitement. Well, as always, something happens to put a damper on my good day. When I'm getting lunch and I reach for my lunch ticket in my backpack, I accidently knock over my tray of food! I was soooooooo embarassed!!! sweatdrop redface It wasn't so much that I was worrying about the food dropping as I was doing so in front of Kathy's younger brother. That put me out considerablly. On top of that, the hat I had worked so hard on suddenly goes missing!!!!!!! Argh! Now see, that hat thing has become part of my grade. If I don't get two done before next Friday I'm DOOMED, I tell you, DOOMED!!! There goes my shot at a 4.0.... stressed
Aiii, well, more tomorrow, hopefully.
