From the day he came into being, Dioji never felt like his home was... well, homey enough. His original world didn't satisfy him, and he found boring all contained within it. Some integral piece of the puzzle was missing, something he could only get elsewhere-- something he soon began to pursue after meeting a strange beast that struck a deal with him, giving him the ability to cross dimensions, but corrupting him in the process. This didn't seem to be too big a deal for him, though, and even showed him what it was he -really- wanted: a crazy world! An entire land where even the tiniest of kittens snarled with snaggleteeth and bloodied mouths and the trees were black and had eyes and ears and tongues growing out of them! WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD THAT WOULD BE. So, he travels from place to place, corrupting everything... then standing back, shaking his head, and deciding it still isn't good enough. He's left countless planets/worlds/dimensions in a state of near irreparable darkness... though he has a pretty good feeling about Earth.
Appearance
5'5'', pale, frail, very light purple-ish hair parted from his left/your right with a short spiked ponytail in the back. His eyes are a dull pink colour. Wears purple and pink a lot.
Personality
Dioji is a rather polite and bubbly individual who forms attachments easily. If he takes a liking to something (or someone), he will not stop until he's gotten it. He sees nothing 'wrong' or 'evil' with his goal, and so is generally not a 'bad guy.' In fact, he even plans to share his final ideal world with all of the people he has deemed interesting! He gets excited very easily, like a child, and tends to pout/cross his arms/puff out his cheeks/hold his breath threateningly when he doesn't get his way. However, he recovers fast from disappointment. He's very optimistic, and believes that IF YOU TRY HARD ENOUGH, EVENTUALLY YOU'LL SUCCEED! (which is why, after all this time, he still has not given up on his perfect world). Very persistent.
Notes
- Has a mouth with jagged, misshapen teeth at the front of his neck. Usually wears a scarf to cover it up.
- Occasionally takes the form of a dog with another dog's head sewn on upside down under its chin (so that their chins and the bottoms of their muzzles are conjoined).
- Can shapeshift into whatever he feels, though the form will always have something unsettlingly wrong with it. (an extra/missing body part, some sort of deformation, etc. etc.)
- LOOOOOOOVES making friends. If he sets his sights on you he will never leave you alone until you accept him.
- He has the ability to corrupt people in the same way he himself was corrupted long ago-- destroying their humanity in return for powers like his own. He only does this to people he really, really finds interesting, however, as he wishes for them to partake in (and even help create) the wonders of his new world. He also has no regard for whether or not the person actually wants this-- he'll do it regardless, without warning. REAL FRIENDS WOULDN'T MIND, RIGHT? RIGHT! (or at least, that's his opinion on it).
