Hair: Black, straight but kinda messy, in his face/covers his eyes constantly.

Distinguishing features: Two steer horns on either side of his head. His hair. Has a tiger shark tail. His tan.

NOT-SO-BRIEF EXPLANATION ON HIS ABILITIES/SPLICING
WELL AT FIRST Ori got himself spliced with a Highland Steer because he found them EXCEPTIONALLY CUTE, and also thought their horns were too rad to not have. HE GOT HIS HORNS but it also caused his head hair to grow over his eyes... (BUT THANKFULLY NOWHERE ELSE he would probably shave every day or something if that were the case)
BUT THEN he thought... IF I GET MYSELF SPLICED WITH A SHARK, THEN I'D BE LIKE A BULLSHARK... BUT NOT REALLY! SO, despite warnings that getting spliced with two completely different species of organism greatly increased the chances of his body rejecting or rebounding, Ori got spliced with a Tiger Shark.
This gave him a shark tail, as well as sharp teeth (that grow back if they get knocked out).
ON THE ABILITY SIDE OF THINGS, the shark splice gave him the ability to 'hear' vibrations made by machines, both mechanical (like a car's engine) and organic (like a human's heartbeat). He can tell where certain things are just by feeling these vibrations. UNFORTUNATELY too many strong vibrations will begin to jam his senses and render him unable to pinpoint specific sources.
As well, if he happens to taste blood by accident, or if he smells it -verrry- strongly, he tends to get... carried away with the fight. Like a starving shark that has just found a group of defenseless seal pups, s**t will get psycho.
DETAILED PERSONALITY
Ori has always been one to let his actions speak louder than his words. Telling somebody 'look over there!' has always been replaced by grabbing the person and spinning them in the desired direction, while interjections such as "huzzah!" or "yeah!" have been replaced with brofists, high-fives, thumbs ups, or triumphant-fists-in-the-air. In short, he doesn't talk all that much. When he does, he tends to speak in fragments rather than full sentences.
He'd rather shoot himself in the foot than break a promise, especially to somebody he cares about. He's incredibly reliable, and if he agrees to do something, he'll do it, no questions asked.
Despite his penchant for keeping his mouth shut, he laughs -a lot.- It's verrry easy to make him laugh, and he has an incredibly goofy sense of humour (especially for puns and slapstick).
Ori is very laidback and it takes a lot to upset or offend him-- but it is -not- a pretty sight when you do push too many of his buttons.
ORI'S PAST
Up until age 15, Ori lived with his parents in Hawaii. However, after a volcano scare, they decided to move to the mainland US.
His parents are very easygoing, and always told Ori to do what made him happy, so long as it wasn't harmful to those around him or trouble-causing. They were a bit taken aback when he came home with horns, and yet again with a tail, but both times they ended up supporting his going against the mainstream.
Around the time the terrorist attacks began happening, Ori's mother fell ill-- a problem that could be fixed with a mechanical organ transplant, though with things being as they were, they couldn't take the risk. Ori now FIGHTS FOR HIS FRIENDS MOTHER'S SAKE!! AND THE SAKES OF EVERYBODY WHO NEEDS THE ORGANS TO LIVE!!
RELATIONSHIPS.
- Oz is his bro, and they do wacky s**t together. He's too chill to find Oz personally annoying, though it doesn't surprise him how other people do.
He and Oz find themselves teasing Aspen a lot more than the poor tomato would like.
Constantly messing with Remy with noogies, or tugging on his tail. Wants him to sit down and watch Disney movies, but he continues to refuse.
OTHER s**t
He can see well enough out of his hair to do normal everyday things, and when he gets into skirmishes, he normally is able to sense the vibrations of his opponents well enough to fight effectively-- though when his senses are jammed, such as when he fights alongside Oz (who gives off too many electrical surges for Ori to keep up), he clips his bangs back!
He likes surfinggggg.
The Lion King is his favourite movie ever.
