My journals are bi-polar... up down side to side... god... Just felt like posting something to make myself feel better... I once had people reading this and I didn't even know it... someone told me to start writing them again... So now I am! I'm happy where I am now. Nothing really changes... the Earth is still round, the stars are still bright and the moon still glows with varying intensity each night. Each individual person is as significant as an atom next to another atom, combined with multiple atoms that make up a cell in our bodies... No one's really special unless we make them that way. All it takes is something happening, even if it's just a touch, a wave, the wag of a tail from a dog, and suddenly we have something special. A bond concocted in our minds to make us believe we belong. None of it's true and none of it's a lie. And that's why belief can make wonderful things. It can also make dark things, like a stalker believing the woman he's following loves him, even though she only knows him as that guy in a coat that smiled at her and that prickle on the back of her neck telling her that someone's watching. Belief is powerful. Billions of people, if you asked them right now, would die for their beliefs. Religion, politics, morals... they're all beliefs and all of them are right and just. No one believes that they are truly evil. They can say they do, but there's still part of them that doesn't. Even a rapist pets a kitty. Even a serial killer loves his mom. You can't say anyone's completely evil just like you can't say anyone's completely dumb. Everyone has the potential to do great things. I hope someone out there gets inspired by a smile to do great things. Do idea why I felt like posting this. Just felt someone out there needed a pick-me-up.... This was for you.
