I'm sure you've heard the saying "There's a first time for everything"

You haven't? Well then stop living under a rock D<

You guys don't know this but I do community service :3

Well most of you don't... Some of you do :3

And those of you reading this will now know~

So basically at my school there's a club that specializes in community service

I joined the club and totally fell in love with it~

I told you I was goody two shoed :3

So anyways I get there around 10 am this morning

We first set up some balloons and what not and put them all over the place

And then we also tried blowing up these golden star balloon ones and they were really hard to blow up ;~;

Stupid golden balloons!

I mean one of my friends picked it up and I screamed at her

"Don't touch that! Its evilllll!!"

Maybe I was being a little over dramatic ^^;;

My other friend just started laughing at me

The friend who tried to pick up the balloon freaked out a little

Hehe ^^;;

But anyways after that we explore the place a little.

Its about the size of a large apartment... If you can imagine that at all xD

We saw some other people

I didn't know who they were so I didn't want to bother them.

But one of the supervisors there said we should get a Mani...

I look at my friend and we look at each other like she was speaking gibberish

"Come again?"

"Yeah, go on! I think you'll like it"

So we went back there to see them and they were like

"Hey there!"

The supervisor lady was like

"These girls would like a Mani please"

Then I look at my friend

"You first Maria" and then I pat her on the shoulder

Then the supervisor lady both pushed us in there

They were all so nice and every where I looked there was this nail stuff

And you could smell all the different chemicals

I sat down and they went to work

Making small talk here and there

The lady doing my nails name was Jade

Now I don't mean to be rude but she was a bit more on the heavy set side

I'm sorry >.<

Don't think bad things I was just saying that because she had really warm and kind hands biggrin

She went to work and about 20 minutes into it she ask's me

"Have you ever had a Mani before?"

I looked at her like she was crazy

"No this is definitely a first for me"

"Really? Your cuticles are in great condition"

Whee~ I was really when happy she said that

"Thank you so much" >/////<

And I kept thinking thank god I've been a vegetarian for the past year

So you know what that means! If your cuticles look bad it means eat more veggies~

That means you big meat eaters!

Yeah you!! -points a finger in your face-

Hehe just kidding but seriously though eat more veggies biggrin

She finished the Mani and she was like

"What color would you like?"

"Uh I don't know... Not much of a pink person"

I guess she didn't hear me because then she said

"We have this lovely shade of pink"

"Uh no sorry I'm more of a darker shade kind of girl"

"Oh, alright we have silver"

Now I know what your thinking...

Silver? Girlfriend you must be blind -snaps fingers-

Haha ^^

But I wasn't even sure it was silver... Maybe be I might be a little color blind >>

But its more of like this very shiny dark lead color but its like the color of lead pencil mixed with silver

And I totally tell in love with the color!

I look like an evil witch~~

I mean... Uh... >>

Wait.. Yeah I meant evil witch biggrin

-cackle cackle-

After that I posing like a stupid hand model

No offense to hand models

But seriously have you looked at your face when you pose?

Thats what I think about :3

So... After than we help pass out some donation forms

This was really funny

The theme of the donation was "Jailbird"

So basically we hand you 5 forms and a pen

We expect you to call 5 different people and ask them to give you some bail money :3

We had someone take it so seriously they called his friends and said

"Hey! I'm in jail and I need you to bail me out!...

Would you care to make a donation?"

Some people really thought their friends were in jail! xD

Now this one guy, Chris!

Totally awesome guy!

He filled out like 10 something forms!

And the leader of the donation event was doing a game~

She said that every 5 forms that are filled out are given a raffle ticket

For the ones we draw up they win a really awesome prize!

Things like a huge basket of stuff

Some free tickets to the zoo and some other stuff biggrin

And a lot of people got a free bag of goodies biggrin

I stole 5 pens :3

So about Chris! He's a really nice guy~

Even though I knew his name I called him the "Crazy Keva Juice Guy"

Only because he was filling out the donation forms like lightning fast and he was kindly giving everybody coupons to Keva Juice~

I got a bunch :3

And also the ladies that were here doing the Mani and Pedis gave me 3 cards to get a free haircut

I really got it good today xD

Coming from a family who loves free things like nobody's business :3

But I think everybody loves free things ^^;;

Oh well~ Thanks for reading guys~

I'm gonna go enjoy my Mani and be like "Yeah! Whoo!" biggrin
