I am normally not a very photogenic person. I have been working on it (posing in front of the mirror like a huge dork, messing around with facial expressions, etc), but I am far from model-status as I aspire to be someday. Also, my house is generally pretty bad for picture-taking. My face tends to look green in my own room (due to my very green walls), and pretty much everywhere else the lighting is never quite right. So, imagine my surprise when, earlier today, I was fixing my hair in my bathroom and I noticed "hey, the lighting here is pretty nice!" Realizing I needed a profile picture for FB (I like to change my picture once every other month or so and my picture had been the same since March), I grabbed my camera (which, if I may mention, is yet another obstacle in my quest to take better pictures), and snapped a shot. I think it came out really nicely!! Here it is, without any photoshop at all:
I'm really happy with how this picture came out. It could be a lot better (like if the background wasn't a bathroom), but I like it. I hope to take better pictures in the future!!
