I got engaged this summer. I hadn't even mentioned the man I'm marrying in previous journals. I always noticed that people were scared or thought twice about getting married after they got engaged, but I'm dead certain. There isn't anyone else for me. I'd truly be lost without him. I love him so much. I never understood all the songs and movies about love before now. No wonder girls love that romantic crap... He's in the military, which makes things a bit difficult for now, but later it'll be pretty straight-laced. I can't wait for him to get back. I miss him so much. I just want to cuddle him all day and night... even though I know there'll be very few opportunities to do that after his leave is over in 8 months... but still... I'll just be happy to have him close. Interesting part is... I'm not the romantic of the two of us. He's a lot sweeter and better at this than me. I hope he gets home safe....
