Late-night angry
So, for the past few weeks, I've been living over at my dad's house, mostly because he lets me on the internet and doesn't effing care if I am on as long as I don't screw up said computer.
At any rate, though he's doing plenty to help me out (helping me get a job, et cetera), he also gets drop-dead drunk almost every evening. This is a problem, as he tends to then go on loooooong, booooring, speeches, and makes me sit there and listen, as if it is doing any more than riding a damn rocket from one ear to the other.
And of course, when his drunk self realizes that I am not listening, he gets angry and begins to repeat everything he says, making said speech several times as long.
I feel that I must say it, if this keeps happening, regardless of whether he is my father or not, I may end up kicking him in the side of his head just to shut him up for a few blessed hours.
Add to the fact that he will sit there and talk to my stepmom, just laying into her about some little, insignificant thing, and stay on it until she starts crying. At which point, it becomes doubly hard to resist kicking him in the head, as seeing something so mean-spirited done to someone who (as far as I have seen or even heard,) wouldn't harm anything bigger than a cockroach, makes me want to smear him across several walls.
Now, don't get me wrong he's a great guy, but when he's drunk, he's a totally different person. And that person pisses me the hell off.
