So, I was over at Schlitterbahn last Sunday, freaking wave slammed me and tossed my glasses to kingdom come. And now I'm stuck with my P.O.S. contact lenses until then.
I cannot scream RAWR in large enough text to express my rage, anger, and fury.
The only thing my contacts have going for them at this point is the awesome shade of green they turn my eyes to.
Other than that, they burn, itch, make my eyes water, and for some reason when I wear them, I cannot stop sniffling.
I can't see up close, for some effing reason, either. Within four inches of my face, objects become indistinguishable blurry blobs.
I can't even see my own fricking shoulder!
I swear, when I finally hold some sway over things, I'm going to kick those lazy slumbitches at lenscrafters into gear. Their freaking "1 hour lenses" sign will be TRUE, and not just "in most cases," damn jackasses.
Anyways, 'nuff whining. It's even annoyong ME, and I'm the one typing this thing.
So, I've been going through my games, playing ones I haven't played in a long while,and I found my old copy of FF8.
I had totally forgotten how awesome games were back then, when a game needed new or innovative gamplay, or a great story, or to be just plain fun. When a game didn't need graphics near as much as now.
I think that, if games slowed down a bit on graphics, and centered more on storyline and gameplay, that there'd be some DAMN awesome games out there about now...
If we take a few steps back on graphics, and put those steps into other parts of the game...
