For those of you who hadn't already heard, my computer caught fire. Well that was fun, I meant typing that sentence, not my computer catching fire, that sucked. Don't worry no one was hurt and thanks to some quick thinking on Kain's part, my computer is still mostly intact. Used up my whole can of compressed air to cool it off, but it worked. ^_^

Basically what happend is my powersupply fan completely died and the whole thing overheated. (see previous journal entry.) Well the power supply like a blue-smoking-kami-kaze pilot decided to take my poor mother board down along with it. To be accurate this all happend almost two months ago. The reason I'm just now mentioning it, is because, I finally got the replacement parts in the mail.

I also just ordered Aion Online and the game should be coming in the mail very soon. Hopefully, the next time I see Kain and Chaos we can put our heads together and get my computer back together. Okay, to be fair, I'll probably just hold the flashlight and pass tools to the real techs as needed.

Right so the holidays are upon us. I had Thanksgiving dinner with Kain's family and that was pretty cool, but I'm still a little annoyed that my dad opted out and stayed at home. I'm so making sure he goes next year. This year I have every intention of getting a nice, probably little, tree and a generally nice Christmas.

And you want to know why I'm so insistant on a quality Christmas? I got a job! ^_^

So what am I doing? I'm a game tester for Sony. Yeah there are a few of my gamer friends who want to strangle me right now. xp Its not a lot of hours right now, but rumor on the grape vine is that the projects will be picking up and so will my hours.

Oh and save yourselves the trouble now, I'm not telling anyone anything about what I'm actually testing and so on. The reason: I signed a confidentiality agreement and I wanna keep my great new job and not get sued. ^_^

Right so I basically know what I'm getting some people for Christmas, but I'm having a hard time with others. So if you happen to know me in real life and there's something you'd really like as a present, that you think I could actually afford, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Oh and if anyone is wondering what to get me...I don't know RAM. Well that or maybe some nice leather gloves. *shrugs*
