I have to share this, its getting to the point where I almost have to replace my computer, but of course, I can't afford an entirely brand new system. So like an old, but dearly loved car, I find that I must at least replace a few parts here and there.

It started with my USB ports, one by one, becoming completely borked and the remaining few that do work, are showing signs they may be on the way out as well.

Right, so to make things really interesting, my power supply is giving the strong impression it wants to quit its job and maybe retire someplace nice, like Florida.

Seriously, I start up the computer and I have to go through a procedure akin to starting one of those old model planes with the kick-start propeller. More acurately, I have to poke at the power supply fan with the little plastic straw that came with my compressed air canister.

It really doesn't help that Kain told me, if I'm not exceptionally careful I could get shocked into...well, if you get shocked by a power supply lets just say you're probably not getting up from that one. burning_eyes

So, even though my financial means are quite mean,(as in I'm nearly broke) it looks as though I'll be bargin hunting over the next couple weeks for some replacement parts to keep the little beige beast running. (Honestly, I suppose its more of an off white, but that doesn't sound as poetic now does it?)

Well, I must bid you all adieu. Thanks for reading and hopefully the next time I get the desire to write a journal entry, it'll be more interesting.
