DETAILED PERSONALITY
Gear is laidback and doesn't let things get to him. He knows life is too short to waste worrying.
He's fiercely loyal to those close to him, however, and can't bear to let a friend down or leave one high and dry.
He can be rather silly at times, and likes making people laugh.
Hopes to inspire.
GEAR'S PAST
Gear was born and raised in a large urban city where graffiti was commonplace. All of the street art around town inspired him at a young age to take up a pencil and start drawing. Now, he uses buildings as canvases, painting all kinds of strange creatures and scenes, in the hopes of inspiring others like he himself was inspired.
The first drawing he ever did was a large dragon with gears for eyes on the back of an abandoned shack on the outer limits of the city. A hobo who had watched him paint it without him realizing asked who he was when he finished, and Mark quickly said "Gear" as it was the first thing that came to mind that wasn't his actual name. His friend Naomi began calling him that after hearing the story, and then so did everyone else. Now he just introduces himself as it.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Naomi is a close friend of his. She video documented all his exploits. He's been worried sick ever since her disappearance, though.
OTHER s**t
Hates spiders A LOT A LOT A LOT.
Tends to use slang when he talks.
Tags all his art not with letters, but with a single gear located somewhere in the picture. If a character is involved, their eyes will most likely be gears. If not, then the gear will be somewhere else (for instance, if there's a bunch of trees, one of the trees will have a gear instead of the typical big green leafy top).
