DETAILED PERSONALITY
She was, at one point, very bubbly and bright, but her outlook on life dimmed significantly after being forced to remain at Minerva. She smiles a lot less than she used to, and when she does, it always seems forced. Her only shreds of hope for the future lie in the fact that perhaps one day she'll thwart her captors and escape.
She's actually rather resourceful, and is constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to her situation, always finding ways around things, and using her work time as an opportunity to go through files & records to glean information. She has a great deal of persistence to back it up.
She tends to be quiet nowadays, though get her talking with somebody who ISN'T crazy or sadistic (which rarely happens), and she runs her mouth like a motorboat (she has to let off all the energy from NOT talking, afterall).
ALOISE'S PAST
At the age of 18, Aloise began working in the Minerva Facility as a mere 'gopher,' doing menial tasks and fetching various things for the scientists. She was kept in the dark about the inhumane ways they treated some of their 'patients.'
At one point, her curiousity got the better of her and she did some snooping, accidentally stumbling upon a rather horrendous mess of a person and freaking out like any regular person would. She was apprehended and dealt with immediately-- implanted with a tracking device, a small microphone (its tiny, silver, box-like shape sticking out the back of her neck a few centimeters), and, most importantly, a bomb.
She is instructed not to speak a word of what they do to anybody, or attempt to escape, or all they've got to do is push a button and she's gone. While dying would actually be very preferable to what she must work to encourage, she knows that if she dies then she won't have a chance to tell the world what's really going on behind closed doors.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Rima taught her how to pick locks for no reason other than "you look bored. let's do something interesting!" Her final test was picking the lock on the refrigerator in the employee break room, her reward being one of the banana nut muffins inside, which the two of them ended up sharing. He was moved to a different sector as punishment, and the two aren't allowed to communicate any longer. She misses him.
She has only had one or two encounters with Ren, as they work in different sectors, though she is both disgusted by and afraid of her.
She has a hunch Elliott may be in the same boat as she is, though has never approached him about it.
OTHER s**t
The name 'Star' is a codename used by Minerva higher-ups when referring to her between each other, and as a project name for filing purposes. The name is in reference to her situation-- she is like a 'star' that could go 'supernova' whenever they want her to.
