____________"Childs Play"(198 cool _____________

Yah This movies the first in a 5 part series of mediocre horror, involving a serial strangler named Charles Lee Ray, who gets shot in a toy store and fuses his soul in a "Good Guy Doll" Which is named Chucky(Their all named diffrent)
So then the movie goes to our protaganist, young Andy Barclay whose only wish for his birthday..is to have a "Good Guy Doll", now He sees a box there, thinking its the doll, tells his mom, so she ends up buying the doll for him..Which just so happens to be Chucky..

Now a series of wierd mishaps start to happen, including hitting a baby sitter in the face with a hammer, and having her fall out a window onto a car 7 stories down..neat.
Now Chucky makes Andy do things for him, like take him to his old "friend's" house and let him kill him, or take Chucky to his old Voodoo advisers place..

Now Andy's getting the brunt of the punishment for the babysitter murder, and no one belives Chuckys responsible..The mom starts to get suspicous and cheaks his bateries, showing he has none, and chucky, bites her(His primary attack, when not armed.)Now she drops him and he goes under a chair..Im alittle blury on the rest, but eventually, he goes after Andy for telling, and tries to "Hide the soul" in him so he can be normal once more, but it fails, for he had been in the doll so long, hes becoming the doll..or the dolls becoming him..
Now Chucky goes ape s**t, and the mom, a cop, and andy have to take him out. Like in most Childs Play Movies, they ******** him over:
Set him on fire
Shot him 7 times
Hit him repedely
Eventually he is finnally gone

and The family goes on to live another day..till number 2..
Now the acting in this movie is poor, mostly because andy talks like the kid from the shining(Red Rum) Another thing I cant get over is how fast Chucky can run, I mean hes got stubly little doll legs yet he runs vast distances and can even mail himself(Number 3)..Hes so resorceful..and yes hes still annoying little ********, I mean hes got this wierd voice thats so much diffrent-er then his regular human one, and hes always doing his laugh..always..I hate his laugh with the passion..
But all that aside..Also how does he keep his hair so tidey...Its really amazing...But Over all the movie is decent, acting is good for a 80's horror movie, and its really a good decent flick worth a rent/buy.

Deaths/Gore:3/5 Chucky Gets ******** Over..
Screams: 2/5 Nothing really great...
Survivor Girl:0/5 Andy mom really isnt a Barberella..
Villian:4/5 For a Evil doll whos face when angry looks like a pug, he does pretty well as a evil villian..his laughs annoying but..you get over it, atlest he has personality(YOU GOT, PERSONALITY!)
Final verdict:3 and a half/5: Not the best in the series but definitly worth a watch.. neutral
