We got an assignment in English, and I thought it was interesting. Our teacher wanted us to write about a hero, like Joan of Ark, George Washington or Albert Einstein. And looking through all the possible options I realized that none of them fit the qualifications, except Superman! George Washington owned slaves and illegally passed them around the states, Albert Einstein was retarded, and Pythagorea was a complete nut job who fled when his followers were burned at the stake.
No one fits the definition of a hero, they are all lying cheating, arrogant SOBs, that history has managed to twist into heroes of glory and bravery. We all have our faults as humans, so therefore none of us can be the perfect hero, or a great example.
The best we can do is try to help people the best that we can, but in the end we must realize that we aren't perfect and that none of our heroes are not real heroes either.

"As I've often said, listen, I'm still here. They've driven a stake through my heart, shot me with a silver bullet, and I'm still around."
