Narrator's POV
It is Monday morning as the girl tosses and turns in her bed as she always does. Her alarm clock rings for a few minutes until she finally gives in and opens her eyes ever so slightly. She sees that it is a calm and peaceful day outside her window. Not a cloud in sight, a perfect day to go for a walk.
Raven's POV
I sit up in bed trying to get my eyes focused with the light. My clock says 9:00. My Mother leaves for work at 7:00 so I am home alone, just the way I like it. I get out of my pajamas and put on a black hooded top with faded checker patterns on the front, a black pair of jeans ripped at the bottom, combat boots, and a black and purple bandana. I go over to my dresser where a jar sits and take $25 dollars out of it. I place the money in a wallet that is in a messenger bag purse. After I finish eating breakfast and brushing my teeth I head out of the door locking it behind me. It is very bright out today, too bright for my liking, so I put on a pair of sunglasses and head out to explore the town for whatever it is that lies within.
Narrator's POV
For what possibly came to an hour, the girl wondered around this boring town. Managing to find nothing but houses and sidewalks. With it being a Monday and 10:00 in the morning, nothing much is going on. All the kids are in school. Most adults are at work. Such a boring time of day, yet, the most wonderful.
Raven's POV
I have yet to find anything interesting in this little town. There are a couple stores around but they do not open until later in the afternoon. What a shame, all I brought was money for stores that aren't open yet. Maybe there is a library or an antique store or something where I can find things in my taste. As I ponder over this for a few moments more, I approach a dark figure sitting upon a bench by the sidewalk ahead of me.
