The Old Life, Chapter 6
Runnning through the woods I never looked back. For if I did, it would slow me down and he would catch me. I then stoped hearing russling in a bushes. For a reason, I had a feeling that I knew what it was. Innocent sky blue eyes shown through the bush. "Sadow," I said sighing in relief. Sadow steppped out of the green leaves and trotted over to me. I hugged him close to me crying a little." I thought I'd lost you too. And I thought I'd never find you." Then a man with long black hair as mine and pale skin walked from out of the shadows. "Who-who are you?" I said stumbling over my words. "I'm here to take you." I let out a scream, as a rip of darkness covered me and Sadow.
When I woke up I was laying on a hard bed and two doors in the room. A wave of coldness washed over me, something was missing. "Sadow?" No answer. "Sadow!?" I started to panic. Sadow was the only thing I had left and now he was gone. I looked under the uncomfortable bed. Nothing. Opening one of the doors, it was a cloest filled with clothes that looked to fit my size. I walked up to the other door and opened it. Outside where was only darkness with candles lit on the walls "Sadow," I whispered.
It's been two hours I'm guessing since I left that room. Like I did when I was with Gaara, I started to crying not knowing what to do. Mixed in with my weepping foot steps began to be heard. Sadly I was too into my crying that I didnt' hear the sounds of the feet. I soon fell, having that I bumpped into someone. "Watch where you're going," they said. "Sorry." Looking up I saw that it was a boy around my age or older. Out of no where I brusted out many questions, "Where am I, where is my Sadow, who are you, and where is that man who brought me here." The boy raised one of his eye brows at all the questions, then he sighed as if he was bored, "You're at my dad's place, I have no clue who is this Sadow unless you mean the furr ball, I'm Ranala, and that man is my father." It was silent for a momument, just trying to get all that in. "Get up." I blinked at his command. "I said get up." This time he said it with more force, so I obyed.
Ranala was talller then me, having short black hair with purple in his bangs. I followed him to some place that he was taking me. I didn't know where but I hope it was a place where I could find Sadow. Soon we came to a door. at the bottom of the door where there was little space from it and the floor that a light that glowed green. Ranala opened the door. In it were machines and glass tubes. Looking around I spotted a small cage. Inside there was growling and hissing. In my mind it was a wild animal but my heart told me it was Sadow, so I ran over and soon the growling and hissing stopped. It was replaced with whines and scratching at the bars. "Sadow, I'm so happy to find you." "Aw it's good to see you up Saga." I turned around to see who the new vioce was, but it wasn't new. It was Ranala's dad. "I'm Orochimaru." "What do you want?" "I want you Saga, you see you have a special power within you and I want it." "I don't understand." "You well soon my dear." As he came closer I could see Ranala standing in a distance with a straight face, almost in a depressing way.
